WOBO MIDI Looper8 turns a set of effects that cannot read MIDI messages into a fully working remote setup that can be controlled by any MIDI controller or sequencer. This includes guitar amplifiers in which the channel switching is done by standard latching footswitches. The unit replaces the footswitch and lets you control a non-MIDI amplifier with your MIDI setup.

The unit is specially designed for True Bypass switching of effects through MIDI data. Thanks to the gold contacts used in the relays designed specially for this purpose, there is absolutely no impact on your sound. The configuration of the ins and outs extends the use of the looper, which can be used as an A/B/C/D switcher for choosing either the signal source and/or receiver. It is also possible to switch the amp' channels by means of the send or out sockets of loops 3 and 4 (sections B and C) connected to the 'footswitch' sockets of the amp.

The actions of the unit are controlled by MIDI messages received via MIDI IN socket. The unit can receive Program or Control Change message on any pre-defined MIDI channel. Programming is very easy – you only need to select the on/off state of the fx loops for the last MIDI message received. The 3-digit LED display allows you to check the channel number on which the last PC message was received and which MIDI channel has been chosen for the reception of the PC message. Control Change messages are set: 71-78 for loops 1-8.

Thanks to the unique design of the MIDI Thru socket circuit the unit makes received signal stronger and you can connect any number of MIDI controlled devices, cascaded after our unit.
